Results of the wetland and riparian survey confirm that Archuleta County contains areas with high biological significance and a diverse array of wetlands that support a wide variety of plants, animals, and plant associations. At least 40 significant wetland/riparian plant communities, eight plants, one bird, and two fish from CNHP;s tracking List are known to occur in or are associated with the wetlands in ArchuletaCounty.
